I think Leaf might be developing a slight "obsession."
His item of choice is a pair of "fancy" shoes. He wore these fancy shoes one time, months ago, and promptly forgot about them. Then, about two weeks ago, they were re-introduced to him for a memorial service. Ever since then it's been "fancy shoes" all the way.
He puts them on first thing in the morning, he naps with them on, he tries to get into the bathtub with them on, he puts them on as soon as he gets out of the bathtub (without any other clothes/diaper on...they are first priority) he runs through the house even more frequently to hear the loud noises they make,
he wears them over his footie pajamas, he talks about them in the middle of the night, he talks about them all day, and he wears them at all times (while at home). He has one pair of footie pajamas that are too fuzzy and fluffy for the fancy shoes to fit over...so when he's wearing those jammies, he carries his fancy shoes with him.
So far he's okay with putting other shoes on to leave the house, thank goodness, because I really don't want to haul him all over town sporting these things.
*Don't get too excited about the big-boy underwear, it's just something we're trying out at home. He is not potty trained.

Oh man I was going to say wow he is trained? Aiden isn't near ready. I don't think we own undies for him yet. Aiden's obsession is pooh. The bear has seen better days for sure but he loves that thing, take it everywhere!
